Transcripts of Oral Arguments Before the 9th Circuit

On December 6, 2010, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals heard oral arguments in appeal of Perry v. Schwarzenegger, the case that found Proposition 8 unconstitutional under the Due Process and Equal Protection Clauses of the 14th Amendment. The 9th Circuit first heard arguments concerning whether the official proponents of Proposition 8 or Imperial County have legal standing to appeal the District Court’s decision, and then heard arguments on the merits of the case. Please note these documents are unofficial transcripts.
