The American Foundation for Equal Rights has posted copies of the amicus (“friend of the court”) briefs supporting our plaintiffs in the federal trial against Proposition 8. Among many respected groups, the ACLU, the American Anthropological Association, the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, the Asian Law Caucus, Justice Donald P. King, and Professors of Family Law have all filed amicus briefs in support of marriage equality.
